Selection of
Members
All lawyers, law professors, and judges living and working in
the Tucson, Arizona area are eligible for membership in the Morris
K. Udall Inn of Court. In addition, students enrolled at law
schools in this area are eligible for Student membership. The Inn
favors making the Inn experience available to as many lawyers
practicing in the area as possible.
Prospective members are nominated by current members and
are selected by the Executive Committee. There is
presently no waiting list of individuals who want to join the Inn.
Should there be a waiting list, the first name on the waiting list
is extended an invitation to join the Inn whenever a membership
opening is created.
The Inn also seeks recommendations from local law schools. Each
law school may recommend students who, by their academic
performance and participation in extracurricular activities, have
demonstrated an active interest in the practice of law.
Inn Governance
Governance of the Morris K. Udall Inn of Court is
entrusted to the officers and the executive committee. The
Executive Committee includes: President, Immediate Past President,
Chief Operating Officer, Treasurer, Membership Director/National
Liaison, Law Student Liaison/ National Liaison, Webmaster/ National
Liaison and Program Chair.
Annual
Dues
The annual dues for Masters are $350.00. The Barrister
dues are $330.00. The Associate dues are $310.00.
Student members do not pay any dues.
