Members of the Morris K. Udall Inn of Court are drawn from the Tucson, Arizona area. Membership is open to all qualified persons, regardless of race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression or disability. Thus, the Morris K. Udall Inn of Court reflects the rich diversity of the bench and bar in the Tucson Area and includes solo practitioners, government lawyers, corporate counsel, persons working in large and small firms, and state and federal judges. Efforts are made to ensure that no law firm is disproportionately represented.

The Morris K. Udall Inn of Court currently has approximately 65-70 active members divided into four classifications. Masters of the Bench, or "Masters," include lawyers and judges with at least 15 years of experience.   Barristers include lawyers with five to fifteen years of experience Associates include lawyers with zero to five years of experience. Finally, Students include second and third year law students from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. Each member is expected to serve a 5-year term.
