Masters of the Bench:
Judges, law professors and experienced lawyers who graduated from
law school at least 15 years ago. Term: indefinite; minimum
commitment of five years.
Barristers:
Judges, law professors and lawyers who graduated from law school 6
to 14 years ago. Term: three years.
Associates:
Judges, law professors and lawyers who graduated from law school
within the past 5 years. Term: two years.
Pupils:
The Ginsburg Inn is affiliated with both Oklahoma City
University School of Law and the University of
Oklahoma College of Law, whose second year law students may
apply or be nominated each January for membership as a pupil during
their third year. Term: one year.
Masters Emeritus:
A Master with a record of long, distinguished service to the Inn
may choose, after five years of membership, to apply for inactive
status and can be designated Master Emeritus by a vote of the
Committee headed by the Master Emeritus Coordinator. Masters
Emeritus do not necessarily participate in pupillage teams and
committees (unless they so desire), but do receive notices of
meetings and attend from time-to-time.
Honorary members:
Lawyers or judges designated honorary members of our Inn on the
basis of distinguished service to the bench or bar, furtherance of
Inn objectives and other noteworthy achievements.
