Membership in the Inn is on an Inn Year basis, which runs from September through August. Solicitations for the new Inn Year begin in late July or early August and require the submission of either a new or renewal member application and the payment of annual dues, which are set each year by the Executive Committee.
The Inn generally schedules regular meetings on the second Thursday of every month between September and May at The Basking Ride Country Club in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. However, it is strongly suggested that you check the Schedule of Meetings.
Our programming calendar always includes visits from well known guest speakers around the country and the world; joint meetings with other Inns of Court, an annual joint meeting of the three principal ADR organization in New Jersey -- the Garibaldi Inn, the New Jersey State Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section, and the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators; and a holiday party with live entertainment.
Among the valuable benefits of membership include:
- High-level, advanced programming on various mediation, arbitration, and ADR issues
- Obtaining all of your New Jersey CLE credits over the course of a two-year cycle
- Satisfying the 4.0 advanced mediation training credits needed to maintain admission to the New Jersey State Courts' Rule 1:40 roster
