On May 5, 2012, our Inn will be cosponsoring a Wills for Heroes Program for Delaware County Fire Fighters and EMS, all sworn personnel and their spouses or significant others. Any time you can give would be very much appreciated! Appointments are scheduled from 11 am and generally run until about 5 p.m., but may finish earlier. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. We need attorneys, paralegals, law students, notaries and witnesses.

The event will be held at the Cardington-Stonehurst Fire Company, 350 Harrison Avenue, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Appointments for each person last approximately 1 hour and at the conclusion of it they will have notarized legal documents - a Will, Living Will, and Health Care and Financial Powers of Attorney (or any combination thereof).

Training for attorneys and paralegals is mandatory for anyone who has not previously volunteered and begins at 9am (CLE credits are provided). If you have previously participated in training, you may arrive before the 11am appointments begin. Notaries and witnesses do not need to arrive until 11:30 a.m..

A more detailed email to all registered volunteers will be sent approximately one week before the event regarding location, time, directions and instructions, etc. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
