Reality Bites: Legal Lessons from Reality TV
The Robert W. Calvert Inn of Court resumed our presentations on October 11, 2022, at the Headliner's Club in Austin, Texas. The program; There Reality Bites: Legal Lessons from Reality TV was led by Sarah Lacy. At the end of a long workday some attorneys turn on the TV to mindlessly watch their favorite reality TV show, from Survivor to Real Housewives and stop thinking about the law. However, as the group showed, even reality TV stars frequently find themselves in need of services from a competent attorney. The team showed how even these D-list celebrities can use legal advice from wire fraud to deportation to contract disputes.
