As an asset to our members and given the strategic goals of the American Inns of Court of being a primary resource for mentoring and education focused on professionalism, the DJF Inn has a formal Mentoring Program.

In October, 2018, our Inn initiated its Mentoring Program. The Inn's mentoring program serves on an ad hoc basis. If a new member (or even seasoned practitioner) would like to consult with a mentor about a particular area of the law or a local procedure in a certain courthouse, they can reach out to the following mentors based on location:

  • Bucks County: Jamie Jamison, Esquire, jmjamisonesq@aol.com
  • Chester County: Bill Litvin, Esquire, wjl@salinglitvin.com or Cathy Voit, Esquire, cvoit@voitfamilylaw.com
  • Delaware County: Steven Koense, Esquire, skoense@klwllp.com
  • Montgomery County: Randi J. Vladimer, Esquire, randi@vladimerlaw.com

The mentoring also holds periodic meetings through the year that are open to all Inn members. Most meetings will welcome a guest speaker to provide information on a chosen topic, emphasizing the basics of that topic in keeping with the concept of more experienced Inn members mentoring less experienced Inn members. Locations vary, but are usually held at a local courthouse.

Mentors are also available to provide one-on-one mentoring to Inn members at any time. Such mentoring is not necessarily limited to the subjects covered in the semi-annual meetings.

Our Inn has a proud tradition of ensuring the flow of information and experience from the older, more experienced Inn members to the younger and less experienced. This is in keeping with the goals of the American Inns of Court.
