Programming Awards

Every year, the Inn collects surveys from its members on the quality of its Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programming. These results are used to acknowledge and award the hard work of the top pupilage groups for the quality, content, and creativity of their respective programming. 

 

Judge Katherine B.L. Platt Award for Mentoring & Volunteerism

In 2021, the Executive Board of the Inn created the Judge Platt Award for Mentoring & Volunteerism to annually recognize an Inn member who promotes mentorship and volunteerism within the Inn and the legal profession at-large.  

In considering the intention and impetus of the efforts of a nominee, general areas to be considered are, in no particular order:

  • teaching/instruction;
  • service to the Inn;
  • pro bono work; and
  • promoting civility within the legal profession

Nominations are recieved on a rolling basis and due by the end of the Inn’s March meeting, and the award will be given out at the Inn’s final meeting in May.
