The Cole-Davidson American Inn of Court was founded in 2022 to promote diversity, civility, ethics, and excellence in appellate advocacy; and to provide educational experiences that will improve and enhance the abilities of lawyers as counselors and advocates and of judges as adjudicators and judicial administrators. The Inn draws members from across the State of Maryland and the Washington-Metropolitan area, and meets monthly in Annapolis, Maryland.
Membership as an Associate may be held by lawyers who have 1-10 years’ experience and are interested in appellate practice. Associate dues are $330 per year. To ensure that Associates are able to participate, the Inn has established a Dues Assistance Fund to help offset the annual membership dues for those who qualify for assistance.
