The Justice Games, May 2018

Hosted by: the Bruce R. Jacob-Chris W. Altenbernd Criminal Appellate American Inn of Court and the Thomas E. Penick Jr. Elder Law American Inn of Court

The Justice Games is a gathering of over 300 attorneys, judges, sponsors and guests who participate in the National American Inns of Court program.  The annual gathering brings together the legal community from Pinellas, Hillsborough, Sarasota, and Manatee Counties to compete in friendly competition and to encourage mentoring and education among its members.

Historically, the Justice Games was held in a Jeopardy trivia format, with each Inn sending "tributes" to compete in a legal themed Jeopardy contest.  But in 2018, when it was our turn to host the Justice Games, we decided to mix things up and host the Olympic Justice Games instead.  Our Justice Games consisted of 8 Inns teams participating in 5 exciting events: Corn Hole, Tug-O-War, Dunk the Judge, Can Jam, and Trivia.
