THE ENNOBLING PURSUIT OF JUSTICE

One might ask why even bother to promote excellence, civility, professionalism and ethics? One answer could be because "the pursuit of justice is ennobling." Dean Donald Burnett of the University of Idaho Law School said that in a lecture in 1998 when he was with the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. BG David P. Carey, American Inns of Court Executive Director, had attended that lecture and quoted Dean Burnett in the March/April 2010 national Inn magazine The Bencher.
