The Inn has four standing committees and may have additional or
ad hoc committees at the discretion of the Executive Committee. The
four standing committees and their general duties are as
follows:
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee has four general duties: (1) membership
outreach; (2) review of membership applications; (3) make
recommendations for pupillage team assignments; and (4) assist with
and/or make recommendations for new member orientation.
Program Committee
The Program Committee oversees and approves program topics and
is responsible for submitting programs for Continuing Legal
Education credit. The Committee consists of at least two Masters
and at least two Barristers or Associates who serve two-year
staggered terms.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee reviews the financial records maintained
by the Secretary/Treasurer at least once annually to verify their
accuracy, reports to the Masters the financial status of the Inn,
and recommends the level of dues for the next Inn year. The Finance
Committee consists of three Masters, which shall not include the
Secretary/Treasurer.
Nominations Committee
The Nominations Committee consists of the immediate past
president, the current president, and the two newest Masters of the
Inn. Its role is to recommend a slate of officers to be voted upon
by the membership for the following Inn year.
