History of the San Francisco School of Law Inn of Court
The American Inns of Court is the oldest, largest, and fastest
growing legal mentoring organization in the United States.
The Inns provide law students and recent law school graduates with
the opportunity to meet and work with seasoned attorneys and
judges.
The University of San Francisco School of Law has its own Inn of
Court, with approximately 80 members, who include law students,
recent graduates, law firm associates, law firm partners, city
attorneys, public defenders, district attorneys, law professors and
judges. The Inn meets monthly to offer programs that develop
and hone professional skills and to promote the goals of the
American Inns of Court. The Inn meets at the USF
Campus. Each program is usually followed by a dinner.
The Inn's distinguished members include USF School of Law Dean
Jeffrey S. Brand.
