The Pee Dee American Inn of Court

Welcome to our homepage.

The American Inns of Court was started by Chief Justice of the United States Warren E. Burger in 1985, and there are more than 350 Inns in 48 states today, plus Tokyo and Guam.  Consistent with Chief Justice Burger's purpose, the Pee Dee Inn of Court exists to promote excellence in professionalism, ethics, and civility in the practice of law in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina.

The Pee Dee Inn of Court received its Charter from the American Inns of Court Foundation on February 12, 2018. Our membership is comprised of roughly 70 attorneys and members of the state and federal judiciary. Our Inn's membership is inclusive, rather than exclusive, and is comprised of attorneys and judges in good standing with the South Carolina Bar who reside in the State of South Carolina's Third, Fourth and Twelfth Judicial Circuits.
