About The New York Family Law American Inn of Court

The New York Family Law American Inn of Court was established in 1995 and is located in Nassau County, New York.  We are the first Inn dedicated to the practice of family law in the State of New York.  Our goal is to enhance the practice of matrimonial and family law by examples of professionalism and civility in our day-to-day contact with each other, toward the end that the best interests of the family will be served.

Our general membership meetings take place once a month from September through November, and January through May.  During each meeting, a Master of the Inn is designated to lead a small team of members for a program presentation to the general membership in the area of matrimonial and family law.  Each program is designed to qualify for continuing legal education credits and is focused on promoting the four cornerstones of our Inn: Legal excellence, civility, professionalism and ethics.  Our Inn prides itself on the unique nature in which our programs are presented which is not in a traditional lecture format but rather incorporates an interactive approach to engage our members to the fullest.
