The LEK AIC brings together a cross-section of lawyers, law students, and judges interested in the field of bankruptcy and restructuring and in furthering the goals of the American Inns of Court.

The Inn members are categorized as follows:

  • Bencher: lawyers with at least 20 years of experience who have been active in the LEK AIC Inn or another Inn for at least five years at the time of such application; judges; and law professors
  • Barrister: lawyers with at least 10 years of experience
  • Associate: lawyers with less than 10 years of experience
  • Pupil: law students and judicial law clerks
  • Affiliated Professional: non-lawyer bankruptcy/restructuring professionals

The members are grouped into "Pupillage Groups" each of which generally includes members from several categories. Each Pupillage Group is responsible for conducting one program a year for the LEK AIC.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the LEK AIC, or wish to nominate someone as a Member, please Rhonda Mates at mates@slollp.com.
