Welcome to the Larry E. Kelly Bankruptcy American Inn of Court (LEK AIC) of Central Texas.

The objectives of the LEK AIC are the establishment and maintenance of a membership of judges, lawyers, legal educators, and law students to promote excellence in legal advocacy, foster greater understanding of the American legal system with a focus on bankruptcy and restructuring, provide significant educational experiences that improve and enhance the skills of lawyers and judges, help the development of law students, promote collegiality among us, and carry ethical values from one generation to another.

The LEK AIC meets once a month between September and May for networking and continuing legal education to promote skill improvement, professionalism, and legal ethics. These common goals are achieved primarily through collegial discourse and mentoring during the monthly meetings at which "Pupillage Groups" are central. The Pupillage Groups strive to present content in unique and entertaining ways intended to provoke thought and discussion on topics of interest to the bankruptcy profession.

The LEK AIC meetings alternate between Austin, San Antonio, and San Marcos.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the LEK AIC, please contact Rhonda Mates at mates@slollp.com for a membership application.
