We are excited to announce the 2024-2025 term of the Colorado IP American Inn of Court.

Whether you are a current member, past member, or new member to the Inn, we invite you to come and mingle with others in the IP community at our in-person meetings.

The upcoming term will feature new and interesting programs highlighting recent developments in all areas of IP.  Our substantive programs will be held in the newly renovated Westin Denver Downtown.

As always, we look forward to socializing at our kick-off meeting, holiday party, and closing party.  These meetings are great opportunities to build relationships and camaraderie.

In addition to providing CLE credits, our Inn mentors younger lawyers/students while promoting diversity and outreach within the intellectual property community in Colorado.  To this end, there will be opportunities for you to participate in our Mentoring Program (details and applications to follow in late August) and Community Outreach activities.

One of the things that makes our Inn special is that it serves as a hub for collaboration, mentorship, and professional development to nurture and cultivate community.  Our goal this term is to revitalize our Inn to its pre-pandemic place of inspiration, engagement, education, and fun.

The Colorado IP Inn is the 13th Inn in the country focused on intellectual property law and is part of the Linn Inn Alliance, an organization of Inns focused on intellectual property law.

The Colorado IP Inn has many objectives.  The first is to promote the guiding principles of the American Inns of Court, which are professionalism, ethics, civility and legal skills in the area of intellectual property law.  The second objective is to focus on the mentoring of younger lawyers in intellectual property law and providing them with the experiences they might not otherwise have due to the complexities of IP law. Finally, the Colorado IP Inn intends to promote diversity within the intellectual property community in Colorado.

Since its founding in 2010, the Colorado IP Inn has achieved the highest status of excellence from the American Inns of Court for its programs and outreach.  Congratulations to the Colorado IP Inn for achieving Platinum Status again in 2023.
