The Justice Marie L. Garibaldi American Inn of Court for ADR
The Justice Marie L. Garibaldi Inn of Court is the first
and only American Inn of Court established for Alternative Dispute
Resolution ("ADR"). Our Inn was formed in 1998 in New
Jersey. The ADR Inn was named for JUSTICE MARIE L.
GARIBALDI, who is a noted practitioner and the
first woman Supreme Court Justice in New Jersey.
Although not following the traditional legal model of
apprenticeship maintained for centuries by the Inns of Court in
London, we have MONTHLY MEETINGS, that
include cocktails, dinner and highly rated CLE programs. We
have adopted the best of the social and professional attributes of
the Inns to mentor our members in the practice of the various modes
of dispute resolution other than litigation.
The Garibaldi Inns invites those interested in promoting both
advocacy and neutral practice in the ADR field to apply for
membership and participate in our activities.
We are pleased to have received the Achieving Excellence
Platinum Award for 2013-2017, which ranks us in the top 16% of the
Inns of Court. To learn more about the Achieving Excellence
