Fostering Excellence in Professionalism, Ethics, Civility, and Legal Skills

Mentoring Program

Among the strategic goals of the American Inns of Court is to be a primary resource for mentoring and education focused on professionalism, which includes ethics, civility and excellence.

In October, 2018, our Inn initiated its Mentoring Program. The Inn will have four mentoring groups, by county, comprised of not fewer than three Inn members per group. Each mentoring group is responsible for a semi-annual meeting. The mentoring program meetings will be open to all Inn members. Most meetings will welcome a guest speaker to provide information on a chosen topic, emphasizing the basics of that topic in keeping with the concept of more experienced Inn members mentoring less experienced Inn members.

Mentors are also available to provide one-on-one mentoring to Inn members at any time. Such mentoring is not necessarily limited to the subjects covered in the semi-annual meetings.

Our Inn has a proud tradition of ensuring the flow of information and experience from the older, more experienced Inn members to the younger and less experienced. This is in keeping with the goals of the American Inns of Court.
